The Faculty of Arts Balgowlah Boys Campus in collaboration The Faculty of Arts Cumberland High School have organised Combined High Schools Music Camp for students enrolled in Ensembles and selected Elective classes.
The camp, held annually at Elanora Conference Centre, a superb venue with excellent facilities for accommodation, meals and music rehearsal spaces.
Beginning on the afternoon of Term 2 Week 7 Wednesday of every year students work with tutors and staff from all participating schools. Families are invited to attend a showcase of the four days' work in the hall at 2:00pm on Sunday of the last day of Music Camp
The aim of the camp is to provide students with the opportunity to:
· work on new music in an exciting, enriching and focused musical environment
· lift performance practise to a higher level
· learn music required for Winter Band Tour (BBC and CHS)
· establish the quality of focus and energy required to achieve new music in 2014
