The aim of Careers Development and Education at Balgowlah Boys Campus is to:
- develop self-management and reliance for students when working through career issues, direction and decisions throughout their lives
- develop a student’s capability to build their own career direction and pathways with the aim to build career self-management and career resilience skills
- help students discover their unique strengths, interests and values and how they can align to their next steps in life
- provide support, programs and activities to students that address student’s individual needs and circumstances
- provide personal, educational, and career and transition support where needed and increase informed student transition decisions
- improve student engagement with increased liaison and coordination with internal and external organisations and the community
