Athletics and Cross Country
Balgowlah Boys Campus has a strong tradition in both Athletics and Cross Country competition within the North Shore Zone and all the way to the NSWCHS Championships.
We have won the North Shore Zone Cross Country Title for the last 14 yrs and have strong representation at the Sydney North carnival and then to CHS. Our Cross Country Carnival is traditionally held on the first Wednesday of term two at the picturesque North Harbour Reserve. We have the majority of boys compete at this carnival and they help make it a wonderful spectacle.
The school athletics carnival is one of the highlights on the Balgowlah Boys sporting calendar with Balgowlah Boys having a strong tradition in track and field events. The carnival is traditionally held on the fourth week of term two with boys then progressing to the North Shore Zone , Sydney North and NSW CHS carnivals. In recent times we have had a strong focus on the relays and we have had numerous teams medal at the CHS Championships.
