Work Education
Work Education is studied in Stage 5. Students are provided with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world of work, the roles and relationships of sectors within the local and the wider Australian community, the roles of education, employment and training systems in planning and managing life transitions.
Students will develop skills in employability, enterprise and pathways planning as well as research and communication that relate to the world of work. Students will develop an appreciation of the importance of lifelong learning and its role in planning future pathways.
Students that participate in Work Education will have an opportunity to run the Bally Prestige Coffee Cart, be involved and landscaping and construction opportunities and participate in external programs such as Links to Learning and TAFE taster courses.
