It is an exciting time for The Faculty of Arts this term. Balgowlah Boys Campus' annual performing arts concert series MAD2017 is being held on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 August. MAD2017 (Music, Art, Drama and Dance) will showcase the diverse musical, dramatic and artistic talents of this Northern Beaches comprehensive high school. The evenings will commence with the Art Exhibition at 4pm followed by the MAD2017 Concert at 7pm.
The Art Exhibition will be held in our school Library and the Concert will be held in our school auditorium.
We are very excited about many highlights of the evening which will include choral and orchestral performance by more than 340 students of works ranging from Classical to Jazz, Pop and Rock the show will include the combined performances from massive classical works such as; Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Miserables, Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring by JS Bach as well as contemporary works from Radioactive – Pentatonix and many more...!
The whole school has been working extremely hard to achieve the performance of these spectacular and ambitious works.
